Here's on for today. I have to warn you, I have a TON of pictures from our Disneyland trip, so there will probably be a lot of Disney pages in the next few days! I love Disneyland and I can't wait to go back next month! Wahoo!

I barely got one finished today! It was a crazy day...I took meals to two families in my ward who had babies...in the last week and a half we have had six babies born in my ward. Anyway, on top of that, I got a workout in, took Jaxon to a playgroup, went grocery shopping, cleaned the house, and did some laundry. Needless to say, when I could finally relax a bit and try to get a page done, it was nice. However, when I finally sat down at the computer, I decided to start downloading more papers and kits instead of finish my page, but I finally finished it and here it is. I was just trying to hurry and finish it, so it's not that great, but it's ok!

I actually got two pages done today! I really wanted to make this a double page layout, but I thought I would try to get as many pictures on one page as I could, so there you have it! I have to hurry because Brynn is waking up, but here you go!

Ok, ok, I know that I have been slacking the last two days and have not gotten any pages done, but believe me, I wanted to! I was crazy busy the last couple of days with cleaning, taking care of the kids, and all that other fun stuff like arranging meals for two of my neighbors who just had babies (congrats Cami & Annelise!). I finally got to sit down today at my computer and I have gotten one page done so far, hopefully there will be more to follow.

I bet most of you thought I wouldn't get a page done today huh? Well, honestly, I didn't think I would either, but Jason is watching Lost and I'm not into that show, so I am doing this instead!

SNOW!

Yesterday morning we woke up and ate breakfast and all that fun stuff and when I went to let our dog outside and opened the door, I saw how much snow we got! It was crazy! The dog took one look at all of the snow and decided it wasn't worth it to go outside and ran back into the bedroom!

Well, Jason was getting ready to go outside and shovel (he was REALLY wishing our snowblower wasn't in storage!) and Jaxon really wanted to help. So, Jason got him all bundled up and opened the garage door and he realized just how much snow there was! While Jason and Jaxon were out shoveling, one of our neighbors knocked on the door to tell us that church was canceled because of the snow. I thought it was interesting that church was canceled over some snow, but it was a lot of snow and a lot of the roads had not been plowed yet. Our alley (if you have been to our house, you know what I'm talking about) had been plowed once during the night, but there was still a lot of snow. Jason only had to shovel a small area between our garage and the alley and that took him a hour and a half! I know all of this snow is good for the drought, but I am kind of getting sick of it!

2/1/08

So, I don't think I am going to get a page done today. I was cleaning like crazy because my office was a disaster! Then I added some new pictures to the blog also, so I am going to start a page, but I don't think I will be able to finish it! If I do, I will post it though!

Just kidding! I didn't think I would be able to get anything done, but my kids are taking great naps and I realized I need to add these pictures to Brynn's book, so they were already done for Jaxon's book, but I changed a lot of the pictures, so I did spend like 1/2 hour on them! I decided I really need to fit more pictures on my pages because Brynn's book is already 50 pages and I'm barely to October! Yikes!

Twins?

Today I was watching our neighbor, Danny. When Annelise brought him over she took off his coat to reveal that he and Jaxon were wearing almost the same exact sweaters. They are not exactly the same, but pretty darn close! Jaxon had a great time playing with Danny. Thanks for bringing him over Annelise!

Bouncing!

The other night Jason was bouncing Jaxon on the big exercise ball and Brynn wanted to try it too! Yes, those are earphones on Jaxon's ears, Jason was letting him play with his MP3 player, Jaxon thought it was great!

Campout in the Basement!

A couple of weeks ago, Jason decided that he and Jaxon should have a "campout" in the basement. So, he went to the store and bought a bunch of junk food...Jaxon was excited for that too!

When we came home, Jason set up the tent (which Jaxon called and still calls a temple) and Jaxon thought it was so great! Then they got the blankets and pillows and all that stuff then they went upstairs to make smores, because what's a campout without smores?! Jaxon loved them!

Then they watched a movie. I think Jason figured Jaxon would fall asleep while watching the movie and everything would be great. Well, first of all, Jaxon doesn't fall asleep while watching movies, and second of all, he had just loaded the kid up with a ton of sugar! Needless to say, he didn't fall asleep during the movie, so Jason tried to make him go to sleep after the movie. Jaxon was having no part of falling asleep, the tent was way too cool, he didn't want to waste his time sleeping.

So, after about an hour of trying to get Jaxon to sleep, Jason gave up and took him upstairs to his room! Even though Jaxon didn't sleep in the tent, he still had a great time on his campout. Thanks Jason for making our little boy so happy!

The picture of Brynn at the end of the other pictures is just because she is so darn cute!

My last page for January! I think I've done pretty good on sticking with my goal. I hope I continue to do so! I am now doing October for Brynn! Yeah! I am getting caught up slowly up surely!

Here is my page for today. I finished it with Jaxon yelling from his crib, "I'm awake!", but he is supposed to be sleeping, so hopefully he'll go to sleep sometime and I can get another one done! He's such a stinker!

Here is a page of Brynn's first trip to the Laketown demolition derby. It's pretty simple, but I kind of like it! The picture is not a very good picture, but it's the only one I had with Brynn in it, so I had to use it!

Nine months old!

So, I took Brynn to the doctor today for her nine month appointment, she technically nine months until tomorrow, but oh well! I actually took her to the doctor yesterday too because she was sick and she started getting a fever too, so I was worried that it might be RSV. Well, thank goodness it isn't RSV, but she has a double ear infection and a cold, so she is miserable, but at least it's not too serious. As long as she has some Motrin in her, she is fine!

Today the doctor said she looked really good. She is 14 lbs. 15 oz. and 27" tall. She is in the 3rd percentile for weight and the 50th for height! She gained almost three pounds in three months. I told Jason she is going to be rear facing in her carseat forever because she has to be a year AND 22 lbs, so it's going to be a while! She still doesnt' have any teeth, but the doctor said her bottom teeth should be popping through anytime, but I've been saying that for like three months! She is also not crawling yet (which I am totally fine with!) the doctor said it is probably because she is so small, her muscles just aren't strong enough to hold her up for very long, so we have to get her some muscles, then I bet she won't stay in one place for very long! Anyway, that is my update on Brynn!

Look, I actually got two new pages done it one day! It's a miracle! My kids are taking really good naps and I cleaned most of my house this morning, so here is another page. I think this will be my last, I have to get ready to take Brynn to the doctor, I think she has a nasty cold, just crossing my fingers that it's not RSV! Wish me luck!

So, yesterday I had a dentist appointment during the time I usually do my scrapbooking, so I didn't get one done yesterday, but luckily I did get one done today even though Jaxon decided that he didn't want to take a nap, he has been in his room for two hours now, just talking to himself...what a stinker! Anyway, here is the page. I don't know if I love it, I think it is a little too busy, but it's done! Let me know what you think.

Here is mine for today. I have to be totally honest though, I did it last night, but I didn't have time to do one today because I got locked out of my house and had to go all the way to Sugar House to get keys from Jason (it's a long story!), so here is one for today, even though I really did it last night! I guess I am just going to have to post my text under my pictures from now on, so I don't get the annoying underlining!

Well, here is a page for today. I know that I didn't post one yesterday, but I promise I have a good excuse...Jaxon is sick. He started coughing on Friday and we took him into the doctor on Saturday and sure enough, he has croup. Yesterday he didn't feel well at all and his throat was bothering him too from coughing so much. He didn't take a very good nap because he was coughing to much, so I didn't get much done. Luckily, he is feeling a little better today, but it sounds like he is waking up, so I guess I better go get him! Again, with the underlining thing, you would think I would be able to figure out what the problem is, but no, I can't! It seems to be whenever I move the text, oh well!

Two more!

Ok, so I got two more done tonight. Jason and Jaxon are "camping" in the basement in the tent watching movies and Brynn was in bed at 7:30, so I have been able to work on getting my stuff reloaded on the computer and all that fun stuff. These pages are pages that are in Jaxon's book too, but I had to do some editing, change pictures and text and stuff, so it's two new pages for Brynn! Not sure why this is underlined all of the sudden, but whatever!

I finally got a page done today! I think it is a little busy, but I think it is pretty cute. Thank you so much to David Jones for helping us get our computer up and running, we totally appreciate it!

Computer Woes!

Well, we got our new computer, but we had to reload Windows on it and in the process messed up something to do with the internet connection. I could still technically load all of my scrapbook stuff onto the new computer, but I don't want to do that in case we have to reload it again and all that stuff (not that it would be hard to load my scrapbook stuff again, but I have a house to clean today too, so this is kind of my way of getting out of it, but it is a good excuse I think!) So, we are hoping to get it working soon, it's working, just not the internet, which I have to have, obviously! So, David Jones, you may be getting a call from Jason tonight aking what he should do!

Crystal, you asked about my scrapbooking. Yes, I do it all on the computer. I have copies saved on the computer in jpeg format and psd format. But I also have a hard copy of the books I have made. I do it through shutterfly.com. I have one for Jaxon's first and second year and am working on Brynn's. They do a hard cover book, you can design the cover and pages and everything, or you can just use the premade formats they have on the website. I love doing it this way because I am not a paper scrapper at all, not good at it and I don't like it. I love doing it on the comptuer though. I think it turns out to be cheaper this way too. I got Jaxon's 2nd year book which was 80 pages for $60, but that's because I found enough coupon codes to take like 70% off. I just wait until there's a really good sale, then I order the book. That was probably a lot more information than you were looking for, sorry!

Ok, I'm off to clean my house and shower (haven't done that yet, just got done at the gym!).

Ok, so when I said that I would try to post a new page each day, I failed to mention that weekends would be exempt. With that said, there won't be a page today either because we are getting a new computer (yeah!!!!!), so now I have to transfer everything from my old one to the new one, so there might not be one tomorrow either!

Happy New Year! Ok, so I'm a little late and I've missed a day or two with the whole scrapbooking thing, but my house was a mess and I had to clean it and all that fun stuff. So since I have been a slacker for the past couple of days, here are a couple for today. I have to admit that these pages are pages I did for Jaxon's book, but I had to edit them a little for Brynn's book and there still a new page for Brynn's book right! Enjoy!

Chocolate!

We had some friends over for dinner on Friday the 28th, thanks for coming Chelsea and Steve and Emily and Chad! We had gotten a chocolate fountain for Christmas and Jason was so excited to try it out. So, after dinner we started it up and gave it a try. I'm not sure who liked it more, the men or the kids! Jaxon, Conner and Andalyn had so much fun dipping stuff in the chocolate we had to tear them away from it because we didn't want them to get sick! They were all a huge mess when all was said and done, but they had a great time! We love getting together with our friends and Jaxon loves when he gets to play with Andalyn and Conner he had been asking all day if they were at our house yet and when they finally got to our house, he was pretty excited!
